The New York Department Of Labor requires all New York businesses with employees to prominently post a number of labor law posters, covering topics such as the minimum wage, health & safety, and other important labor laws, in the workplace. You can download or print all of New York's mandatory and optional labor law posters on this page, free of charge.
The Workers' Compensation and Disability Benefits poster is supplied by the employer's insurance carrier. Various other posters can be obtained by looking at the chart at http://www.labor.ny.gov/workerprotection/laborstandards/employer/posters.shtm and finding the correct address, phone number or website.

The New York Department Of Labor requires that all employers post these five mandatory labor law posters in a prominant area within the workplace. Most New York businesses will also need to post the Federal Department of Labor's mandatory posters in addition to these state posters.
For the Safety & Health Poster: Employers must keep a ""Log and Summary of Occupational Injuries and Illnesses"". They must post the Summary page (OSHA Form 300A), as required by OSHA, in the workplace on February 1. They must keep the Summary posted for three months. Private Employers can obtain forms from OSHA. Public employers should contact the Division of Safety and Health.
