New York Discrimination in the Workplace Poster
The Discrimination in the Workplace is an equal opportunity law poster by the New York Department Of Labor. This poster is mandatory for some employers, including employers with four and more workers.
This poster, written in English and Spanish, is optional to post and describes on what grounds employers and employees cannot legally discriminate against others. This means that employers against discriminate against possible and current employees and employees cannot deny services, including public accommodations, to anyone due to any of the factors mentioned on this poster. In addition, those in the rental, lease or sale of housing, land and commercial space cannot discriminate against anyone either. There are some exceptions to this law but if anyone feels like they have been discriminated against they can file for a complaint.
