The Paid Sick Time is a labor law posters poster by the Nebraska Department Of Labor. This is an optional poster, so while it is recommended that you post this if it is relevant to your employees, you are not required to by the Department Of Labor.
"Effective October 1, 2025, employees in Nebraska are entitled to paid sick time. They will begin accruing paid sick time after 80 consecutive hours of employment at a minimum of one hour for every 30 hours worked. Employers with 11-19 employees must give 40 hours of paid sick time per employee per year, and employers with 20 or more employees must give 56 hours. The notice discusses eligible uses of paid sick time, procedure for giving and requesting sick time, legal rights under the Healthy Families & Workplaces Act, and retaliation protections.
