The HUD Equal Opportunity / Fair Housing Poster (Spanish) is a workplace posters poster by the Federal Department Of Labor. This poster is mandatory for some employers, including owners of hud-subsidized multifamily housing with spanish-speaking tenants.
This official Spanish-language poster by the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) E-Verify poster, titled "IGUALDAD DE OPORTUNIDADES EN LA VIVIENDA - Nuestras prácticas de negocios cumplen la ley federal de equidad en la vivienda", informs tenants and employees that "II is illegal to Discriminate Against Any Person Because of Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Handicap, Familial Status, or National Origin" for various real-estate transactions.
HUD-subsidized property owners with a Spanish-speaking audience MUST display this poster, as required by required by the Fair Housing Act and HUD regulations at 24 CFR, part 110. The poster must be displayed in a prominent location where tenants, prospective tenants, and employees can see it.
