LICENCIA POR ENFERMEDAD Todos los trabajadores de Oregon tienen una licencia por enfermedad protegida. Si trabaja para un empleador con 10 o más empleados (6 o más si tienen una sede en Portland), usted tiene derecho a una licencia por enfermedad pagada. ▶ Su empleador debe proporcionarle una licencia por enfermedad. Tiene derecho a 1 hora de licencia por enfermedad protegida por cada 30 horas trabajadas hasta al menos 40 horas al año. ▶ Puede utilizar la licencia por enfermedad por muchos motivos, incluso si usted (o un miembro de su familia) está enfermo, lesionado, sufre una enfermedad metal o necesita ir al médico. También cubre: la licencia por duelo, la licencia parental y para cuidar a un hijo cuya escuela o lugar de atención esté cerrado por una emergencia de salud pública. ▶ Si su empleador tiene 10 o más empleados (6 o más si tiene una sede en Portland), debe pagarle a su salario normal cuando se tome una licencia por enfermedad. De lo contrario, su licencia por enfermedad está protegida, pero no es pagada. ▶ Puede solicitar la licencia por enfermedad protegida después de haber trabajado al menos 90 días.
